Evaluation of IPM Modules against Major Pests of Okra, (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) in Saran District, Bihar, India

Experiments were carried out at ten locations of Saran district, Bihar during kharif season 2017 with okra crop cv ‘Supper green’. The assessment reveled that module (M4) proved the most effective treatment against pest and diseases i.e. shoot fruit borer, Earias vittella F., yellow vein mosaic virus, Bemisia tabaci (Genn.) red spider mites, Tetranychus urticae Koch in which lowest incidence was recorded as compared to other IPM modules, farmer practices control plot 2017. Module III (shoot borer 7.02% on shoot, 9.87% fruits, virus 16.25% mites 3.35% infestation) next major compression modules I 12.24% 18.12% 24.42% 9.05% infestation), respectively.
